在CHO細(xì)胞上表面表達(dá)人或鼠CD47可用于用FACS篩選抗CD47抗體，作為基于細(xì)胞的測定中的靶細(xì)胞，例如ADCC或CTL。CD47參與細(xì)胞粘附到細(xì)胞外基質(zhì)時(shí)發(fā)生的細(xì)胞內(nèi)鈣濃度的增加。編碼的蛋白質(zhì)也是血小板反應(yīng)蛋白的C末端細(xì)胞結(jié)合結(jié)構(gòu)域的受體，并且它可能在膜轉(zhuǎn)運(yùn)和信號轉(zhuǎn)導(dǎo)中起作用。該基因具有廣泛的組織分布，并且在Rh紅細(xì)胞上的表達(dá)降低。該CD47缺陷型小鼠有缺陷的宿主防御。CD47作為巨噬細(xì)胞的抑制信號。已經(jīng)發(fā)現(xiàn)CD47在許多不同的腫瘤細(xì)胞中過表達(dá)。它是癌癥治療的潛在治療靶點(diǎn)。在癌癥治療中使用抗CD47的I期臨床試驗(yàn)已于2018年8月接近完成。
